We started Stregare Baking Company in the spring of 2012 after a rigorous 2011 holiday baking schedule fulfilling cheesecake orders for friends, family and co-workers. For a number of years we had been searching to find an outlet for our passion to create high quality delicious food for our community. We had looked at food trucks, traditional restaurants and catering ideas but nothing quite fit. In the midst of one of many all-night baking sessions that holiday season, we had our epiphany! Rather than making fewer Cheesecakes next season, why not make a lot more? We realized there was a need and potential market for quality cheesecakes and other baked goods, made with local ingredients, using a farm to table model that had recently become so popular with restaurants and had always been a part of our cooking.

Our commitment to sourcing and providing good food is not a trend, just a way of life.

We believe that farm to table is not a trend it is simply the first and necessary step in feeding people – and feeding them well. This belief is at the heart of Stregare Baking Company’s culinary philosophy. And that is why we look for every opportunity to include local fresh ingredients into our products.
